Our staff is the greatest asset we have. They make a real and genuine difference to the lives of our residents and are key to the success of the centre as a whole. With over 200 employees working in a variety of roles, we are committed to supporting and developing each individual staff member in an environment that is as diverse as it is challenging and rewarding.
There are a wide variety of employment roles at Yarl’s Wood:
Our aim is to be the number one centre for detention and reparation in the UK providing services to the UK Borders Agency (UKBA).
To achieve this we need a team of well-trained, competent and motivated people to work with us at the centre.
In addition to the comprehensive internal training we provide we believe in supporting staff in their endeavours to further advance their skills and knowledge by supporting the needs of external training and development programmes. Please look at the Learning and Development page for further information about training programmes available to Yarl’s Wood employees.
If you feel that you can make a real difference to the lives of the residents at Yarl’s Wood IRC and would like to join our team in this rewarding and diverse environment please look at the Vacancies page for details of opportunities at Yarl’s Wood and Serco PLC.
