      Salary

      We regularly review our salary scales to remain competitive with annual salary progression, dependent upon performance.

      Annual leave

      All staff receive 28 days of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays, on a pro rata basis.

      Pension

      Serco offers a Group Stakeholder pension plan.  The Company will match your contribution up to 6% of your annual salary.

      Life Assurance

      Staff life assurance cover, subject to the terms of the policy, represents twice the basic annual salary of the individual.  Upon joining the pension scheme this increases to three times the basic annual salary of the individual concerned.

      Childcare vouchers

      Staff with children are eligible for the Care-4 Childcare Vouchers scheme, which helps meet the cost of registered or approved childcare for children aged 0 to 16.  Parents on the staff can take part of their salary in the form of Childcare Vouchers that are non-taxable and exempt from national insurance contributions.

      Employee of the Month

      This gives managers the opportunity to nominate employees who have shown outstanding performance.  .

      Unum Lifeworks: Employee Assistance Programme

      As part of its continuing investment in employees, Serco provides the Unum Lifeworks service.  Free and confidential, this service provides advice for employees on topics that may affect health, family, money matters or work related issues.
